Duvet Inners, Pillows & Fleece Blankets
A good silk duvet will last a
long time if it is treated correctly.
- Always use a removable cover to protect
the inner from dirt and stains.
- The silk duvet cannot be
washed
- Outdoor airing is required to allow the
natural silk fiber to breath
- Airing will ensure the moisture
evaporates, making the silk duvet fluffy again
- Each outdoor airing session should not
exceed one hour
Should your duvet inner require
deeper cleaning, please follow these steps:
- Spot clean with warm soapy water and a
very gentle/delicate washing agent. (A special silk washing agent is ideal)
- Never use bleach or strong detergents, as
this melts silk
- Rinse thoroughly and squeeze excess water
by pressing the two sides together.
- Do not wring
- Dry flat
- Dry clean for difficult stains
only
- Do not tumble dry or
iron
- Do not shake duvet inner strongly as this
may displace the hand layered silk floss
Sheets, Pillow Cases
& Other silk products
Silk sheets and pillow cases will last a long
time if they are treated correctly. Avoid spilling liquids on your silk sheets or pillow cases, as this may leave
stains after it becomes dry. Silk Room sheets and pillow cases are made of high quality silk and can be hand or
machine washed. Washing instructions are below.
- Handwash with cold or warm water
with a gentle washing agent is best
- Machine wash on a "delicate" cycle, do not
spin
- Machine wash in a delicates washing
bag
- Never use
bleach or strong detergents, as this melts silk
- Rinse
thoroughly and gently squeeze off excess water
- Do not
wring
- Dry flat, do
not use pegs
- Drycleaning
uses chemicals which may damage the silk and is not recommended.
- Do not tumble
dry
- Cool iron on reverse
Damage to your silk product caused by incorrect care
will void your warranty.
