Silk Duvet

Silk is low maintenance. This is because dust mites do not like living in silk, and is also why silk is hypoallergenic.

AIRING:                    Air your silk duvet two times a year. This is to take the moisture out of it.
SPOT WASHING:     If you have a mark on the outer duvet cover, you can spot wash it with warm soapy water
DRY CLEANING:      If you feel your duvet needs a complete clean, you can dry clean it. (be sure you emphasize to your dry cleaning service that it is silk.
(sometimes a Dy Cleaner will wash it rather than dry clean it.)

Silk Pillow

AIRING:                           Air your silk pillow 2 – 3 times a year. This is to take way any moisture.
SPOT WASHING:                     If you have a mark on the outer cover, you can spot wash it with warm soapy water
WASHING THE COVER:                    The pillow has a zip to enable removal of the cover for washing.

CARING FOR SILK SHEETS & PILLOWCASES

Silk Pillowcase

Machine Wash on delicate setting in cool or cold water, using a delicate washing liquid.
Silk Pillowcases can be quickly hand washed in warm water using a small amount of shampoo. (they dry quickly)
N.B. They are a natural product and bio degradable, so best to be dried in the shade, or a short time in sun.
